This weeks photos are from an event I shot last week for the Wilsonville Youth Sports banquet. The grainy contrasty black and white look is inspired by the amazing work of Leo Patrone (is contrasty even a word? :). It was such a fun event to shoot and I think it shows in the pics. Enjoy!

I recently was asked to shoot a cooperate event at Adidas for the international press to introduce some of their new NBA shoes. Any one who knows me knows what a huge basketball freak I am so the chance to photograph an event like this was a dream come true (just short of actually shooting a Blazer game:). Not only was the presentation absolutely spectacular but a few of the Blazers were invited to meet some of the press and shoot some hoops. The next several days will feature photos of the event.

Introducing Emily, who is entering her senior year at Tualatin High. For Emily's shoot I decided to try out a park over in Lake Oswego which couldn't have worked out better. There was a perfect mix of different colors and elements which allowed me to really get some diverse and fun photos. Emily was such a great model and was so natural in front of the camera that the pictures pretty much took themselves. Her personality is so warm and friendly that I know she'll make an awesome nurse some day :). The next several days will feature some of my favorite shots from our shoot.
