Dan and Heather

This week will feature a photoshoot I did for Dan and Heather. They were a great couple to work with and were perfect models...aside from Dan's occasional silliness :).

Details and colors

Again, I loved the details of the old church building. The colors and the way the natural light was spilling into the hallway really struck me with the first photo. In the second one, the old purple chair also really spoke to me. Almost like there should be an old man sitting in it, napping, with his head down.

I'm feeling swell to great

I loved the old organ and felt more drawn to the small details of the church than to the grand shots.

The Old Church

I have a friend that is a security guard at the old church on the park blocks in downtown Portland and he let me in for some pictures.

Elvis has not left the building

For those of you who have experienced Saturday's Market know about the greatest Elvis impersonator in PDX. This photo was taken at the very climax of "New York, New York" it was AMAZING and brought the house down.

Blue sky, white clouds

This building is right off of Pioneer Courthouse Square and houses the movie theater that runs mostly independent movies. I loved the clouds on this day.

Portland's Saturday's Market...and Sunday too.

Welcome to You Look Nice Today Photography's almost daily photo blog! My goal for this blog is to share not only sneak peeks of recent photo shoots but also my personal work. The first several posts will be of a recent trip to downtown Portland's Saturday's Market. Feel free to make comments or just sit back, relax, and enjoy the photos.
