I was asked to photograph a high school soccer game for a team that was on a verge of going to the playoffs. Although I was a little intimidated to shoot a game I didn't know too well, I am happy with the results. Plus it was a night game which made for some awesome black and white shots. Best of all they won the game.

How much do I LOVE taking senior pics?! As with rock band shoots, it is so much fun to think a little outside of the box and be a little more creative. Sure there are still the more traditional poses that are musts but after those are out of the way, let the fun begin! Kacie was such a wonderful and fun model which really shows in the pics. Enjoy these few until the rest are done. :)

First off, I would like the thank all of you who come to visit my website and blog on a regular basis and a big thank you to all of my clients who I have had the privilege of photographing. The response has been overwhelming and in just a short time I have been more busy with photography than I thought I would be at this point. For this I am very grateful.

Now, on to the good stuff. :) So I have been thinking about ways to get the word out with my friends, family, and clients that You Look Nice Today Photography is out here on the interwebs. I was racking my brain trying to figure out what the best way to approach this and thought "Hey! Why not reward the people that are helping me spread the love?"

This is Pi (or 3.14 if you prefer) our cat. We came up with that name because we had just gotten done reading "The Life of Pi" and thought that it fit. He does have a small percentage of Asian Leopard in him and sometimes that wild comes out, just ask anyone that has ever stayed with us, but for the most part he is very sweet.
